Doug Hamilton
With a mindset of always doing what’s best for members, Doug oversees all aspects of the insurance fund, including claims, underwriting, safety, member services and accounting. Doug strives to provide members and his coworkers with a great experience and an enjoyable workplace. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and church and partaking in some of his favorite hobbies like golfing, boating and horseback riding. Fun fact about Jack, he coached Team USA in Jr. Golf World Cup in Japan in 2009!

Roy Artman, JD
Motorcycle man dedicated to detail and precision, Roy brings unwavering dependability to his primary duties that involve the management of the day-to-day operations of the claims department. Along with this, Roy frequently presents KBIG’s continuing education courses to insurance agents throughout Kansas. When he isn’t taking on the challenges of claims, teaching others or riding his Harley, Roy enjoys spending time with his kids and grandkids!

An expert accountant with a sense of humor, Darin is a top-tier numbers guy who enjoys helping members grow their businesses. From overseeing all accounting and financial aspects to working with IT support to maintain our computers and software, Darin always strives to provide solutions to any problems. Along with lending a helping hand, he’s always known for lending out great books!

Passionate about supporting KBIG’s growth, Deena enjoys developing positive relationships with agencies, KBIG members and partnerships with homebuilder associations. With her commitment to doing things right the first time, Deena is the type of person you can count on to keep her word! As a massive music fan, Deena is an avid concert-goer who loves to travel and spend her time outdoors with her family and pets.

Dave is not your average safety guy. He’s a cool safety guy! With a passion for helping members maintain a safe work environment, Dave makes all the difference. When he isn’t overseeing all aspects of KBIG’s safety services, you can find him spending time with his family, playing golf or rooting on his favorite football teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.

Kari Zeferjahn
Crazy about providing outstanding service, Kari is passionate about ensuring appointed agents and insureds have an excellent experience and handling all their worker’s compensation needs. In her role, Kari underwrites and issues new worker’s compensation insurance policies for our agents and members, and also services existing insurance policies. During her free time, she enjoys gardening, mandala dot painting, crocheting and spending quality time with her dogs, friends and family.

Always eager to take on new quote opportunities, Sharil is an underwriter you can count on! In her position, Sharil is always looking for ways to say YES to new business! She enjoys helping agents and members with the best pricing possible and providing them with ways to increase their safety and reduce claims all with excellent and timely service. When she isn’t working, Sharil stays busy with her two sons and golden retriever!

As a KBIG adjuster of 19 years and a graduate of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Coliene’s skills and services have the magic touch! Always professional, honest and thorough, Coliene ensures a smooth process from start to finish for each and every claim filed. Along with her passion for insurance and Harry Potter, Coliene is a massive fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, antique cars and spending time with her grandchildren.

When an employer has a question, Kim goes above and beyond to always provide them with an answer. When she isn’t with her work family, she’s running her small business, spending time with family or attending one of her grandchildren’s sporting events.

As the first point of contact for employers, Kristal is passionate about providing exceptional and efficient service that makes employers’ lives easier. Along with her professional title, Kristal also proudly wears the titles of the office prankster and travel guru. In her position, she strives to bring qualities of honesty, compassion, resilience and humor to her work.

Vinny DiGiovanni MS, LAT
With years of expertise in athletic training and injury prevention, Vinny shares his skills with testers to improve their health and safety. As the OAC manager, Vinny is responsible for conducting pre-employment testing including Physical Capacity Profiles and Drug and Alcohol testing. When he isn’t making the world a safer place, Vinny enjoys making wine from honey, known as mead, spending time with his children, exercising and cheering on the NY Yankees.

Reliable, organized, hardworking and humble, Barb never fails to answer each call with an upbeat attitude that’s ready to help. As a receptionist, Barb wears many hats from scheduling all appointments for OAC to assisting with claims and helping others in any way possible. And when she isn’t lending a helping hand, she’s cheering on the KSU Wildcats and Denver Broncos or rocking out to KISS.
